  Q: How do I unzip a Folder?
A: For Windows:

    2. Locate the 7zip option in the window and select "extract here"
    3. A new folder will appear with all the files. You will now be able to open it normally.

    For Mac:
    1. Double click on the folder you want to open
    2. A new folder will appear with all the files. You will now be able to open it normally.

Q: Why is my insert not lining up front to back?
A:
Here are a few things to check:
    1. Ensure you are opening and printing your file with Adobe Acrobat Reader.
    2. Ensure you have “Auto portrait/landscape” selected.
    3. Ensure your paper size in your print box matches the paper size you are using
Note: If the above three options do not correct your issue, try going to "page setup" at the bottom left of your print box.
Under "page size", select "borderless letter".

Q: Why does my dated insert look mixed up?
A: Our two per page documents are setup as booklet style in order to work for traveler’s notebooks and to also save paper when printing. This format will look out of order when flat, but once assembled into a booklet, you will notice the order looks correct.

Q: I mixed up my pages and I don’t know how to get them back in order.
A: If this happens, the pdf file is your friend! Open the file and match up the pages. Pages 1 & 2 of the file will be printed front/back of each other, then 3 & 4, etc.

Q: How do I know which way to fold my TN insert?
A: Use the PDF as your guide. All odd pages will be on the outside of the fold and even pages inside of the fold. Start with your cover page and follow by tucking each page that follows inside the previous.

Q: How do I fold my foldout insert?
A: You can measure and mark, but an easy way to do this is - Once you’ve trimmed all your pages, take a page without the foldout (smaller) and line up the foldout page with it. You’ll want to align the foldout on the non foldout edge so that the flap is hanging out. Then fold the flap with your crease lining up at the edge of the smaller page.

Q: I am printing odds and evens, how do I know which way to flip?
A: Each printer will be different as every tray feeds paper differently within the machine. So you will need to find this out for your printer. I recommend test printing one page. I usually write “TOP ↓” on the top of the page as it is in my tray with an arrow in the direction I’ve inserted it. This will help you understand which direction to flip going forward!

Q: How do I get a better quality print out?
A: Look into your printer settings to see if you can change the print quality settings. Look for things like “best” or “photo” for quality. Also play with your paper type options. Often photo paper settings will print better. Ensure your ink cartridges are full. And lastly, try different paper types. See Supplies for recommendations.

Q: The images/graphics on the file are not printing out, what do I do?
A: Ensure you are opening and printing your file with Adobe Acrobat Reader. If this issue is still occurring, try selecting “print as image” in your print box. If the first two options are not working for you, check if your Adobe software and printer drivers are up to date.

Q: Letter size paper is not available where I live. Can I use A4 paper instead?
A: Yes, but two things to keep in mind. (1) Update your paper size in you printer settings to A4 so that your printer aligns the document correctly with the new size you're using. And (2) keep in mind that for B6 Ring Bound files, you will cut off all the crop marks. You can of course measure on your own, but due to A4 being smaller, you will cut off part of the file.
