JESENIA

I’m Jesenia, a born and raised Cali girl who founded Jesenia Printables in 2017. Since as long as I can remember, I’ve loved to draw and create. But as a young adult, I found myself conflicted between the sciences and the arts. I know, I know. Totally different career paths. I tried the sciences only to find myself craving something that filled my heart with more joy and eventually made my way over to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, Los Angeles. This was it. Following matriculation, I went on to work in the home industry for nearly ten years. Landing the role as Design Director for brands such as Shabby Chic and The Jungalow was a dream. This path shaped and inspired me more than I can express.

Of course, juggling life and career is never easy and I always found myself making lists. Sticky notes on my computer, stuck to my phone, in my wallet, on my bathroom mirror, you name it. But then I remembered LOVING my color coded agenda in high school and found my way back to a similar method in my adult life. I began a few social media accounts to share this passion which unexpectedly grew into a wonderful community on YouTube and soon after, Jesenia Printables. I wanted a way to make planner inserts for myself that were pretty while still suiting my functional needs. And anyone who knows me, knows that I’m not the most patient person so the instant gratification of printables is very satisfying to say the least.

So, here we are today with Jesenia Printables as we know it. A passion that fell into place with my 30 + years of being a person trying to keep their life together. Curated to achieve a sophisticated design because even though we may not always have it all together, we can always make it look like we do. And why not make it look pretty while weʼre at it?

Meet

BORIS

Meet Boris, my sidekick. Boris is a world traveler with exquisite taste. Heʼs a bourbon guy, but will do single malt on a Tuesday. He also enjoys fine charcuterie. He is well versed in art, literature and sarcasm. Most evenings you can find him on a chair in the corner of his office with a nice glass of bourbon on the rocks in one hand and a Dostoevsky in the other. But donʼt let his rugged good looks fool you, Boris has a soft side. His ability to get in tune with the feminine perspective is how heʼs able to assist me in our designs. Boris is an integral part of the design team and quite frankly Iʼd be lost without him.
